Amala Paul replaces Anushka!
While reports suggest that Anushka has turned down the offer to play Venkatesh's love interest in Venkatesh-Mahesh Babu starrer Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (SVSC), it is now heard that producer Dil Raju has roped in Amala Paul for the same role.
After playing Naga Chaitanya's heroine in Bejawada, Amala Paul is currently doing Love Failure opposite Siddharth. If everything goes well, Amala Paul will play Venkatesh's wife in SVSC, directed by Srikanth Addala. Samantha is Mahesh Babu's heroine. SVSC was launched on October 7.

Aishwarya Dhanush unveil Prince Jewellery‘s Platinum Collection!
The fine Platinum collection ‘The Platinum Soulmates Collection’ at the Prince Jewellery was inaugurated by Dhanush and Aishwarya Dhanush at their Cathedral Road branch in Chennai. The couple also exchanged rings and jewellery to celebrate the Platinum Day of Love. The collection includes jewellery for daily wear and for special occasions.

Rajinikanth’s Rana in the future?
Latha Rajinikanth spoke to a private satellite channel on her husband's birthday. To a question on whether Kochadaiyaan will be a prequel to Rana, the Superstar’s wife said that it is a pioneering effort from Soundarya Rajinikanth and depending on the course of direction Kochadaiyaan takes, anything can happen with Rana in the future.
On Rajinikanth not meeting people, Latha said that he is perfectly fit and fine but is taking his time to relax and recuperate. She added that the entire family is thankful to all the fans world-over for praying for the Superstar’s health and recovery.
Kamal Haasan Kathak dance training!
Kamal Haasan will leave for the US with his 75-member crew on December 15th. The star and his team will be stationed in the US for about a month or so and complete a major portion of the film Viswaroopam there.
Kamal, the director and lead star in Viswaroopam, is also undergoing a special training with guruji Birjumaharaj to master the art of Kathak dance. It is imperative for the storyline to know Kathak and Kamal is leaving no stone unturned to master this art.
Viswaroopam has Pooja Kumar and Andrea as the leading ladies. Music is being scored by the trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.

STR’s Osthi a good opening!
STR’s Dharani directed Osthi has taken a good opening all over Tamil Nadu. The opening is uniform in multiplexes and single screens in B and C stations.
The film after initial release hiccups, opened on Thursday, a working day to get the advantage of a four-day weekend. It succeeded to a large extent as STR films always take a good start and there was an 85 to 90 % opening on day-one and two and holding well on Saturday.
Rajesh of Raja theatre in Kallidaikurichi says: “ Osthi is a racy mass masala that is being lapped up by the audiences. It has opened well and collections are steady.”
Dharani is happy the way the Osthi has opened. Says the director: “STR has proved once again that he has a star opening. I’m very happy that the opening collections are fantastic, inspite of releasing on a working day.”

Rajinikanth’s Kochadiayaan to start on his Birthday!
Rajinikanth who will be working on his next project titled Kochadiayaan after dropping his ambitious Rana for which he had written the script is likely to start the work on his birthday which falls on the 12th of December.
The film will be directed by Soundarya Ashwin Rajinikanth and has dialogues/ screenplay written by director KS Ravikumar.
The latest buzz is that actress Sneha will be playing Rajinikanth's sister in the film. AR Rahman who was supposed to do Rana and the live-action animated film Dheera ( earlier titled Sultan) has been roped in to compose.
Sources said that the Oscar winning composer had already composed few tunes for the earlier projects and he might soon begin the work on this film as well. Well considering his list of projects and other international commitments we wonder how Rahman will be dedicating to this Rajini's film. However sources close to the film inform that AR Rahman who himself is a fan of Rajini was keen to compose for the film and will soon start on the work.

Vijay,Murugadoss's film title confirmed!
The title for Vijay and Murugadoss's film has been confirmed as Thupakki. Kalaipuli S Thanu the producer said that they are all happy with the catchy title. An official announcement with more details is expected soon.
The first look for the film done be Santhosh Sivan will be out on December 5th. And it was reported earlier that Vijay will be playing a cop in the film but Vijay has dismissed these rumors and said that the plot details were top secret.
Anushka cameo appearance in Saguni!
Actress Anushka will make a cameo appearance in Karthi's Saguni, directed by a debutant Shankar Dayal, one-time assistant to director Ezhil. The actress recently shot the movie. It was a one day shoot, which Anushka did for free as a friendly gesture. Interestingly, Saguni is Karthi's first political entertainer and is touted to be a complete action flick. Pranitha will play the female lead and Radikaa Sarathkumar will be seen on the big screen after a long time. Reportedly the film narrates the life of a young village graduate who comes to Chennai for job. A sudden turn of events makes him to enter politics.
At times when heroes mouth punch dialogues and bash the goons single handedly, here comes Karthi's Saguni which doesn't have any villains. "Karthi’s role is a tricky one, which has grey shades to it but eventually, everything he does benefits the common man," the director was quoted saying.
Director Shankar Dayal has recently revealed that unlike other political flicks, leading lady Pranitha will have equal importance in the film. He also said that the heroine is part of the script and will not have a blink-and-miss appearance. Now the latest buzz is that Karthi's character in Saguni will have shades of Nira Radia (from the 2G scam) but in a positive way. The film is likely to grace theatres for Pongal 2012.

Vijay’s Nanban audio launch on the 15th of December!
Nanban, which is scheduled for January 2012 for Pongal will now have a grand audio launch on the 15th of December at Chennai Trade Center.
The film's music is scored by Harris Jayaraj. The song 'All Is Well' has been retained though has been returned to give the local flavor.The film which is the remake of 3 idiots, is directed by Shankar and has Vijay, Ileana, Srikanth, Jeeva and also has Sathyaraj, Sathyan, SJ Surya, Anuya in other important roels.
The latest buzz is that the team are putting in all efforts to bring in Aamir and director Raju Hirani for the big occasion.
We also hear that a private channel has also bought the rights for the event and also a lot of Ilayathalapthy Vijay fans are expected to turnout for the even.

Sneha in Rajini Film!
Sneha has landed a coveted role in Rajini's new film, Kochadaiyaan. The actress will be playing Rajini's sister in the film. She is very happy to be a part of this project, Sneha said as it has long been a dream of hers to star in a Rajini film.
The film is to be directed by Soundarya Ashwin and will probably have AR Rahman as the music director. Anushka is being considered for the role. A few reports have surfaced suggesting that a Bollywood heroine may also be roped in.

Suriya's fan base is constantly expanding. His latest film 7aum Arivu has done tremendous business in Kerala and there is a huge craze for him there. His fans were pleasantly surprised when he was present as a special guest at the Kerala State Awards. Kerala Chief Minister, Oommen Chandy and other ministers of state were also seen.
The audience went wild when Suriya came on stage. Director Priyadharshan, Dilip, Salim Kumar, and Kavya Madhavan were some of the celebs spotted at this event.

Recently. Rajinikanth saw a trailer of Osthi which was sent to him by KS Ravikumar who had obtained it from director Dharani as Rajini had told him that he enjoys Dharani's films. Rajini loved the trailer and had conveyed it.
