Samantha in ‘singham 2’ remake!

Lately, Bollywood is making use of the widely celebrated talents in South Indian film industry and yes, we are talking about the heroines here.

While Asin, Ileana, Kajal Agarwal, Tamannah and Tapasee have all made their entries in Bollywood, it is yet another celebrated South beauty Samantha who is gearing up for her launch in Hindi.

Sources abuzz that the actress will be making her debut through the remake of director Hari's 'Singam 2'. Reports add that director Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn seems to have been impressed watching Samantha in the Hindi dubbed version of Telugu super-hit 'Eega'.

However, an official announcement fir the same is awaited.

Hansika Motwani: ”No lip-lock scenes”!

Actress Hansika Motwani clarifies that she is not doing any kissing scenes in her forthcoming films, including Settai, and urges fans not to spread rumours.

“There isn’t any lip-lock in any of my upcoming movies. Please stop spreading rumours,” Hansika Motwani posted on her twitter page.

Ever since she has been cast in Tamil comedy Settai, a remake of Hindi adult-comedy Delhi Belly, there were rumours that she will lip-lock with co-star Aarya in it.

Hansika Motwani essays the role originally played by Shenaz Treasurywala in the Tamil remake, which also features Anjali, Premgi Amaran and Santhanam.

Karthi’s All in All Azhaguraja started!

Actor Karthi’s All in All Azhaguraja went on the floors yesterday in Chennai with a test shoot followed by a photo shoot for publicity. Today, we bring you more exclusive updates on the film.

The film is directed by Rajesh M, the maker of three blockbuster entertainer movies like Siva Manasula Sakthi, Boss Engira Baskaran and Oru Kal Oru Kannadi.

For the first time, director Rajesh will be joining hands with music director Thaman for this film with Sakthi Saravanan handling cinematography and Immanuel Jackson is working with art direction.

Vivek Harshan will be the editor and the film is produced by KE Gnanavelraja under the banner of Studio Green.

Following the grand success of Naan Mahaan Alla, Karthi and Kajal Agarwal will be romancing on the screens with Santhanam – the lucky mascot of Rajesh’s film tickling your funny bones.

Prabhu, Saranya Ponvannan, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Naren and others will be seen in important roles.

The creater of hat-trick comedy entertainers is all set to kick-start his next movie with Karthi now.

Yes, the shooting of Karthi Starrer ‘All in All Azhaguraja‘ directed by Rajesh (SMS, Boss Engira Baskaran and Oru Kal Oru Kannadi) goes on floors from today with a test shoot followed by photo shoot for poster promos.

According to the reports, the shooting will be held across the regions of Kumbakonam, Pollachi, Gobichettipalayam, Tenkasi, Ambasamuthiram and other important places in Tamil Nadu.

While the shooting of Biriyani is 60% is completed, Karthi will be simultaneously working on these films.

Rajnikanth’s ‘Kochadaiyan’ audio release in April!

Superstar’s ‘Kochadaiyan‘ is completely locked up in post production. Rajnikanth, KS Ravikumar and Soundarya watched the three hour long film, and we are informed that Rajni is in complete awe with the brilliance of the movie. Superstar appreciated and acknowledged the hard work of Soundarya and KS Ravikumar towards the movie.

Superstar Rajnikanth considers this film to be a milestone in his career and turning point in the animation domain in India.

Sources say that the movie has come out well and it exceeds expectations. Dubbing, rerecording and special effects will start work simultaneously from March 15th.

However, each of these processes will happen at a different locations on the world map. Dubbing will be done in a studio in London, rerecording in Los Angeles, while special effects will be carried out in Hong Kong.

Though not official yet, audio release for the film is expected to be in April.

Kamal Hassan’s ‘Vishwaroopam DTH release!

 

The internationally critically acclaimed Kamal Hassan film ‘Vishwaroopam‘ still continues to make headlines.

This time, it is with regard to the DTH release. Earlier, Kamal Hassan had filed a complaint at the Competitive Commission of India (CCI) that he was threatened that the movie will be banned, had he released it in DTH.

There were severe protests that any movie should not be released in other media, before it hits the big screen. Now the Director General of fair trade regulators is probing the case and the results are expected to come out by the end of this month.

According to CCI‘s report, the DG ordered completion of investigation in 60 days.
