Simbu’s Vaaam censored release on 29th!

STR's eagerly awaited Vaanam was censored today (April 24) morning, by the regional censor board in Chennai.

The film has been cleared with an 'UA' certificate, with voice muting. The censor board members who saw the film were all praise for Vaanam, as they liked it a lot. Says Simbu, who was present at the censoring: "Everybody who saw it, including lady members congratulated me for
doing the film."

Vaanam  is written and directed by Krish and a remake of his 2010 Telugu film Vedam. The film is a multi-starrer and has Silambarasan, Bharath, Anushka , Prakash Raj, Sonia Agarwal and Saranya.

It has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, while cinematography and editing are handled by Nirav Shah and Anthony respectively. The film produced by VTV Productions and Magic Box pictures is being marketed by Cloud
Nine.

Vaanam is now confirmed to release big on April 29, worldwide, says VTV Ganesh the producer of the film.
