Promising director Krish's Simbu-Anushka-Bharath starrer Vaanam, remake of Telugu blockbuster Vedam, has been postponed again. The latest buzz is that the producers have postponed its release to April 29, 2011 due to the elections and IPL.
In this film, Simbu will don the role of Cable Raju (originally played by Allu Arjun) and Anushka reprises her role from the original. The director also confirmed that the script has been changed to suit the taste of Tamil audiences. The film also has Jasmine, Bharath, Prakashraj, Sonia Agarwal, Saranya, Radha Ravi and Vega in prominent roles.
