Nanban directed by Shankar, which stars Vijay, Ileana, Jeeva, Srikanth, Sathyaraj, Sathyan, SJ Suryah, Anuya in the lead roles is gearing for release on the 12th of January in the overseas market.
The movie however will have a day delayed release in India which will hit the silver screens on the 13th of January (on the eve of Pongal).
The film's music s scored by Harris Jayaraj and the songs are already chart busters. The film is produced by Gemini Film Circuit. Though its the remake of the Hindi blockbuster movie 3 idiots, this is the first time that Shankar is working with Ilayathalapthy Vijay and the expectations are high on that note. So is Harris Jayaraj who is composing for the first time for a Vijay movie. And also for the first time, Ileana is pairing up with Vijay, which makes it an even more interesting film to look forward to.
