Ajith’s Arrambam to release for Diwali!
Vishnuvardhan’s film with Ajith Arrambam is now one of the hottest selling movies. The film’s distribution rights have partly been bagged by AM Ratnam, the film’s producer, for certain sections of Tamilnadu.
Some reports suggest that the movie’s Karnataka distribution rights is sold for nearly 3 crores, a first timer for an Ajith film. The Coimbatore distribution is said to be taken care by Cosmo Pictures, who earlier tasted success with Nanban and Thuppaki.
The film’s release date is yet to be officially announced, yet the expectation from the film among the ultimate star’s fans are very high and are eagerly awaiting its release. It is speculated that the movie will be releasing for Diwali.
With Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music, the movie has Arya, Nayanthara, Tapasee Pannu and Rana Daggubati in the leads. Sony has bought the music rights.
With Om Prakash’s cinematography and A Sreekar Prasad’s editing, the movie also stars Mahesh Manjrekar, Atul Kulkarni, Suman Ranganathan, Kishore, Akshara Gowda, Prashant Nair and Lee Whittaker in a special appearance.

DSP bagged Ajith Kumar film!
It is not Yuvan Shankar Raja or Anirudh Ravichander but Devi Sri Prasad (DSP), who has bagged Ajith Kumar film. Well, it was recently said that the ‘Kolaveri di...' musician was in talks with director Siva of Siruthai fame to compose the music for his next project starring Thala but now it has been revealed that DSP has been offered the film.
The buzz says that the makers of the forthcoming film directed by Siva have approached Devi Sri Prasad and they are likely to seal the deal soon. Yuvan Shankar Raja and Anirudh Ravichander were also in the race but the movie bosses preferred Devi Sri Prasad. This will be DSP's first film with Ajith Kumar.
It may be recalled that after Anirudh Ravichander met Ajith Kumar in Mumbai last month, it was said that the young musician was roped in to score the music for the upcoming film. However, with this development, all the speculations related to the music director of Thala's next film have ended.
Meanwhile, Ajith Kumar and Anushka Shetty's movie name have been finalised. The title of the film, which was earlier said as Vetri Kondaan, is yet to be finalised. Other details about the project are yet to be revealed.

Ajith's Billa 2 trailer rocking!
Ajith’s new Billa 2 trailer was quietly put on You Tube on Monday (July 2) night by producer Sunir Kheterpal. The trailer very slickly cut is electrifying laced with punch lines and action.
Billa 2 trailer has created a big buzz among Ajith fans and there is unanimous opinion that it is one of the best cut trailers in recent times. Already, in less than 24 hours it has crossed 1.5 views on you tube, which is fantastic by any yardstick.
Billa 2 being marketed in Tamil Nadu by Aascar Films is scheduled to release on July 13. The theatrical trailer of the film will be shown in all theatres in TN with Qube from Wednesday.

Ajith working hard for a new look!
Ajith Kumar is shooting for his next untitled project with director Vishnuvardhan. Sources close to the film's crew mention that the lead star is working vigorously in his body for a new look as dictated by the director.
Ajith is working on his fitness for nearly five and a half hours per day, adds a source. For this Ajith has changed his caravan to a mini gym where he could work out in every bit of time off the shoot. Hats off to the commitment of the star who had undergone 16 surgeries which have taken a toll on his health to a worrying extent.
With Ajith tuning up his body and Anu Vardhan (vishnuvardhan's wife) as the costume designer onboard, we could expect to see a dashing Ultimate star to on screen. The film has a rich casting of Ajith, Arya, Nayanthara and Tapasee Pannu appearing in important roles.

Ajith’s Billa 2 to release on June 29th!
Thala Ajith's upcoming release Billa 2 is yet again facing trouble with its release date. Just like his 50th film Mankatha, which created a curiosity relating to its release date, similar situation has rose for Billa 2.
Billa 2, which was initially scheduled for release by first week of June, was postponed to June 22 and now we hear that it will be released on the 29th of June.
We hear that this decision was taken as they did not want the film to clash with Karthi's Saguni which is scheduled for June 21st release. Though Ajith's Billa 2 is a bigger project than Karthi's Saguni, they still did not want the two to clash in the same week and affect each others business.
Though there has been no official news about the postponement, Billa 2 has received an ‘A' certificate. The film is a prequel to Ajith's earlier Billa, directed by Vishnuvardhan. Billa 2 stars Parvathy Omanakuttan, Bruna Abdullah as the female leads and is directed by Chakri Toleti. While the film's music is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
On the other hand Saguni has Karthi and Pranitha in the lead roles and is a political satire thriller, directed by Shankar Dayal and has music by GV Prakash.

Ajith's Billa 2 trailer!
Ajith's Billa 2 teaser as unveiled on the 13th of April 2012 on the festive occasion of Tamil News Year's Day and the video is getting lots of accolades.
The teaser which was released on Youtube, has so far reached over 4 million views in just three days. The film directed by Chakri Toleti is produced by Suresh Balaje, George Pius, Sunir Khetrapal, under the banner of Wide Angle Creations & IN Entertainment.
There has been numerous comments by the fans of Thala Ajith, who are raving about the video and praising their favorite star. The film with the tag line everyman has a past, every Don a history is a prequel to the earlier Billa directed by Vishnuvardhan (which was again a remake of Rajinikanth's Billa 1980, which again is the remake of the Hindi film Don starring Amitabh Bachchan).
The film talks about how David became the dreaded international Don - Billa. With Yuvan Shankar Raja's music, Parvathy Omanakuttan and Bruna Abdullah plays female leads, while Vidyut Jamwal (of Force fame) plays the villain.
Other supporting cast of Billa 2 include Prabhu,Rahman, Sudhanshu Pandey, Manoj K. Jayan, Krishna Kumar, Sriman, Sricharan, Yog Japee, while Gabriela Bertante & Meenakshi Dixit makes special song appearances.

Ajith Billa-2 Biryani!
Now once again he has become a cook. The shooting of Billa 2 took place in Goa for 20 days. 150 people worked for this shooting.
All of a sudden mouth watering hot Biryani was served to the 150 people. Only later on the crew came to know that only Ajith has cooked this tasty Biryani.
One of the crew member who tasted this Biryani said, ” Ajith apart from being a good actor is also a good chef. He prepared mutton and chicken Biryani in the sets erected for the shooting of Billa 2.
He never took the assistance of anyone to prepare the Biryani. After completing each shot, he checked the quality of Biryani.”
The crew members say that they are very eager to savour the Biryani prepared by Ajith.

In Ajith’s Billa-2 Nayantara playing a cameo role!
Actress Nayantara after her alleged break-up with Prabu Deva is in news for making a comeback in to films. Earlier there were reports that Nayantara is making a come back with a Ajith film under the direction of Vishnuvardhan, which might also star Arya in another important role that will be produced by AM Rathanm.
Now we hear that Nayantara will be playing a cameo role in Billa 2. She had been the lead actress in the earlier version of Billa. We hear that Nayan has agreed to do the cameo as Ajith and Nayantara shares a good rapport and has also done another film (Aegan) together.
Billa 2 has Parvathy Omanakuttan playing the lead, while the film also has Bruna Abdulla, Vidyyut Damwal as the villain. The film written and directed by Chakri Toleti also has Prabhu, Rahman, Krishnakumar as part of its cast.
The movie has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by RD Rajasekhar and editing by Suresh Urs.
The film has recently wrapped up its shoot in a foreign location and is scheduled to release on the 1st of May.

Namitha in Billa 2?
Namitha had a meaty role in the Ajith starrer Billa, though Nayanthara was the main female lead. Wishing Billa 2 team all success, Namitha said that she wanted to be a part of the film but unfortunately it did not happen.
Billa 2 was initially to be directed by Vishnuvardhan but the project fell on the hands of Chakri Toleti who is now directing the film. Parvathy Omanakuttan and Bruna Abdullah are playing Ajith’s lead pairs in this film which has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
