Nila got Ilayaraja's blessings

Shooting for the film ’Jagan Mohini’ is going on at a hectic pace now. The film stars Namitha and Nila. Maestro Ilayaraja has composed music for this film. Sources in the industry say that despite Ilayaraja having composed music for thousands of songs, he is not in the habit of seeing his songs being picturized.

Well, here’s a first for Ilayaraja. He visited the sets of ’Jaganmohini’ in Madurai where a song sequence featuring Nila and the hero of the film Raja was going on. The producer of the film Murali and the director N. K. Viswanathan had invited him and the maestro obliged.As soon as the maestro entered, excitement filled the air. A visibly thrilled Nila fell at Raja’s feet and got his blessings.

Namitha and Nila sizzle together in ‘Jagan Mohini’ flim

Kollywood actress Namitha’s ‘Jagan Mohini’ was launched at a glittering function in Madurai in which M K Azhagiri, son of Chief Minister M Karunanidhi took part.. The shooting took place at Thirumalai Naicker Mahal. Directed by N K Viswanathan, the movie is inspired by veteran director Vittalacharya’s ‘Jagan Mohini’ which featured Jayamalini in the lead role.

The latest buzz doing the rounds is that Nila has been roped in to play the second heroine in the movie. The actress, who made her debut in ‘Aa Aah’, appeared for an item number in Silambarasan’s ‘Kaalai’ recently.Sources reveal she has been roped in for a hefty sum by the producers to play the role in ‘Jagan Mohini’. Both Namitha and Nila are expected to sizzle in the movie.
