Where is Navya Nair?

Where is Navya Nair, one of the performing heroines in the industry? Has it not been a while since we saw this Kerala beauty in the big screen? The truth is that she has been busy with her MBA exams. After her superhit film Gaja in Kannada, Navya has signed up for two more films in Kannada. In Tamil, shooting for Rasikkum Seemane is over. According to her, more films refers to good themes and roles and not numbers. This strategy, she says, has been working fine for her for till now. So we can hope to see more of this young lady after she completes her MBA exams.

Navya out of Aval Peru Tamilarasi!

Has Navya Nair opted out or was she unceremoniously dropped from Aval Peru Tamilarasi, to be directed by debutant Meera Kathiravan, a former assistant to Balu Mahendra and Lohitadas?

The film to be produced by Moserbaer has the hot and happening Jai (Subramaniapuram fame) as the hero.At the last minute, with the film to be launched next week, Navya and the director have parted ways amicably. The film‘s cameraman is P.G Muthiah , and has music by Vijay Antony.

The buzz is that Navya and Kathiravan had difference over the script, and hero Jai wanted somebody who will look younger than him to be cast opposite him.Anyway Navya has lost her only film in Tamil and is now concentrating on Kannada films, where her career is on the upswing.

The latest we hear is that another Malayalee girl approved by all concerned has been roped in by the director, who will be unveiled at the launch of the film.

Navya Nair has missed not being born as a Tamil girl

Navya Nair wants to work for the development of Tamils. She felt in a public meeting that she has missed not being born as a Tamil girl. She is now starring in a movie to be made for achieving Guiness record. It is Suresh Jochim, a Tamilian who has already done 53 guiness records and wants to make a movie and do one more record.

While speaking in a function organized to launch the movie she declared her feeling. Immediately a fan of her asked whether she has plans to marry a Tamil.On this shocking question, for a few seconds Navya kept mum and then managed to answer saying "If my parents permits I will do so. But the male should be able to understand my way of life"
