Vijay’s 'Thalaivaa' in third schedule!

Ilayathalapathy Vijay and director AL Vijay's 'Thalaivaa' movie shoot advancing in a tremendous pace. The crew has completed its third schedule in Australia and is currently stationed in Chennai for a short break.

The film's crew left to Australia on the 22nd of March for with Vijay, Amala Paul, Suresh, Santhanam choreographer Sathish and other key technicians for canning a couple of songs a talkie portions. Now, that the schedule has been complete, the crew has returned back to Chennai.

This much awaited film from Vijay has Abhimanyu Singh playing the baddie. Sathyaraj, Mano Bala, Panchu Subbu, Power Star Srinivasan are placed in key roles.

Produced under Sri Mishri Productions by Chandra Prakash Jain, C.P. Sunil and C.P. Dinesh Thalaivaa has a strong technical team which includes Nirav Shah’s cinematography and Anthony’s editing and GV Prakash's music.

Jayam Ravi dual roles in ‘Nimirndhu Nil‘ !

Kollywood director Samuthirakani is currently directing a film titled Nimirndhu Nil which has Jayam Ravi and Amala Paul in the lead roles.

Actor Jayam Ravi is for the first time donning dual roles. He is donning the role of a 24 years old young man and the role of a 48 aged old man.

Actress Amala Paul is donning the role of a middle class family girl who is in search of a job. Though Samuthirakani has been keeping the story in dark, it has been leaked now.

Jayam Ravi is an orphan kid. He studies in a ashram school. This school teaches him only the good things. After completing his school and college studies, he comes out as a 100% good person. He does not know to lie or do wrong things. But the world is filled with both good and bad.

He is not able to live as a good person even a single second. The society does not allow him to be a good person. Because of this he encounters lots of sorrows. Normally heroes in such situations will bash the villains and eliminate the evil but this is not so in the case of this film.

The hero will be good in this film and will do good the bad people and transform them. How this was possible is the screenplay of Nimirndhu Nil. There is no fighting and blood spilling in this film but this is an action with no violence. Samuthirakani has written this screenplay for the last four years. This is his dream project.

Amala Paul replaces Anushka!

While reports suggest that Anushka has turned down the offer to play Venkatesh's love interest in Venkatesh-Mahesh Babu starrer Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (SVSC), it is now heard that producer Dil Raju has roped in Amala Paul for the same role.

After playing Naga Chaitanya's heroine in Bejawada, Amala Paul is currently doing Love Failure opposite Siddharth. If everything goes well, Amala Paul will play Venkatesh's wife in SVSC, directed by Srikanth Addala. Samantha is Mahesh Babu's heroine. SVSC was launched on October 7.

Amala Paul will pair up with Suriya!

IG reported yesterday that Amala Paul will pair up with Suriya in director Hari's next, which is touted to be a sequel to Hari - Suriya's earlier offering, 'Singam'. Much was speculated following this and it was said that she is not a part of it.

However all that has been rubbished now and it is now official as Amala Paul who is in the US for the shooting of 'Muppozhudum Un Karpanaigal' will be signing the film once she is back.

The pre-production work is taking shape at a good pace and the film will go on floors by February next year once both the leads are free from their current commitments. The film will be announced officially once the other cast and crew are finalized and once Amala signs the project.

Amala Paul has become one hot property in tinsel town, and is the next big thing in Tamil and Telugu cinema...

Nayanthara praises Amala Paul!

Recently, Nayanthara the glam queen of south Indian cinema send an sms to Amala Paul, the promising newcomer after she saw her pics on the cover of a leading women’s magazine. 

Nayan's sms was: “You looked really good in the JFW photo shoot and in one of the pics, you looked so much like Priyanka Chopra. The way you have made this fast make-over is quite appreciable”

And Amala Paul screamed in joy and happiness. She was quick to reply back to Nayan: “Nayan you made my day. It was so sweet and kind of you to tell me this, and these words coming from you, means a lot . No other heroine of your stature would tell me this”

Amala said: “I was always proud about Nayanthara who is from Kerala and made it big in south Indian cinema. She created a place for herself in this male-dominated industry and more than being glamorous, she is also an amazing performer. She has struggled to reach this position and be it her make-over, attitude and bold moves, I really look up to her”.

Crowd mobbed Arya and Sameera Reddy!

Arya and Sameera Reddy are shooting for Lingusamy’s Vettai which also has Madhavan and Amala Paul in important roles. While returning to Chennai from Karaikudi after completing the first schedule shooting, Arya and his heroine decided on a train journey with Lingusamy thinking it would be good fun.

It was decided that they would get down in Tambaram itself to avoid drawing attention to themselves. But when the adventurous pair got down, they were spotted despite the oversized shades and cap Arya was wearing and the dupatta Sameera had used to veil her face. The fans mobbed them and were determined to get close with the stars.

Sameera became frightened as the crowd increased. Arya had already arranged for his car to pick them up. So he somehow managed to find it pushing his way through the crowd and steering Sameera towards safety. His driver and a friend kept the crowd at bay while Arya got a distressed Sameera into the car. Sources close to the stars say that they have decided to fly to their destinations from now on.
