Asin replaced Katrina in Kamal Hassan film!

It was earlier reported that Katrina Kaif has been considered to play the female lead in Shankar's multi-lingual with Kamal Haasan (Tamil), Mohanlal (Malayalam) and Prabhas (Telugu). But grapevine is now abuzz that the filmmaker is now toying with the idea of casting Asin as the lead lady in this magnum opus!

The actress was seen cozying up with Shankar and ARR at a high profile event in Mumbai and ever since rumour mills have been working overtime suggesting Asin has bagged this prestigious venture.

A fact also mentioned earlier - Jackie Chan (who is a good friend of the producer Aascar Ravichandran) is touted to play a pivotal role in this multi-lingual project.

Kamal Hassan with Bollywood Heroine!

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif is the latest to join the long list of actress from Mumbai to make her entry in Kollywood. Though there were rumours that she would be part of Rajnikanth-starrer Kochadaiyan, sources say that the she will share screen with Kamal Hassan soon.

According to sources, the actress has been approached by Aascar Films for their next venture with Kamal Hassan. This film is touted to be a big budget bonanza.

Kamal Hassan and Aascar Ravichandran had teamed up earlier for Dasavatharam which featured Kamal Hassan in ten different roles.

Katrina Kaif the female lead in Kochadaiyaan!

In an exciting development, Soundarya Ashwin has said that they have offered Katrina Kaif the female lead in Kochadaiyaan. Katrina is one of the reigning Queens in Bollywood and she is also considered a lucky mascot. Her sizzling performances in Sheila Ki Jawani and the recent Chikni Chameli from Agneepath have cemented her reputation for pure star power.

Katrina is thrilled with the opportunity to work with Rajinikanth. However, she is very busy and has already committed to many Hindi films. The actress is doing everything possible to somehow accomodate Kochadaiyaan we hear.

Katrina Kaif doing item song with Simbu!

LAST year’s biggest Bollywood competition was between two popular songs, Sheila Ki Jawani and Munni Badnaam Hui, but in a strange turn of events, Sheila, or rather Katrina Kaif is set to become Munni. The makers of the underproduction Osthi Simbhu in the lead, the Tamil version of Dabangg, plagued by fears of a possible comparison between the new Munni Badnaam Hui with the original, have decided to go for a new version of the song. According to sources, they are signing Katrina Kaif for it and have reportedly set aside Rs 2.5 crore for the song.
