Srikanth & Sunaina 'Nambiar' Movie Romantic Stills !

Srikanth and Sunaina starrer 'Nambiar' is directed by debutant Ganesh and is touted to be a science-fiction comedy. The film has caught the attention of the movie buffs as Ganesh happens to be a former associate of ace Telugu director SS Rajamouli.

Produced by S. Vandana and S. Shaalini under Golden Friday Films, 'Nambiar' has music scored by Vijay Antony, cinematography work of M.S Prabhu and Vivek Harsha's editing.

Santhanam will be the key comedian besides playing a supportive role, while John Vijay, Devadarshini, Jayaprakash, Vanitha, Delhi Ganesh, Vijaya, Subbu and Sri Ranjini are the rest who form the support cast.

Sunaina joins Bharath-Perarasu team!

Perarasu is relentless in his endeavour to make as many commercial flicks as possible named after various cities in Tamil Nadu! Joining that list is the Bharath starrer Thiruthani. The two have already worked together in Pazhani, which, like every Perarasu movie, was crammed with punch dialogues, awe-inspiring stunts and rural beats. Thiruthani will undoubtedly follow suit. Providing relief in the midst of these masala elements is Sunaina. She proved the lucky charm for another Boys star, Nakul. So will she give luck to Bharath also, who badly needs a hit?

We are not in love: Nakul

Actor Nakul is yet to believe his luck. A dream start is ‘Boys’ to be followed by a few years of struggle to make it big, and then, ‘Kadhalil Vizhunthen’ happened. Success doesn’t come easy, nor does its elation leave easily. Nakul is presently playing hero in his second flick, ‘Masilamani’, in which he is paired, again, with Sunaina, his ‘Kadhalil Vizhunthen’ heroine. This has provided enough grind for the gossip mills that has suspected that something is brewing between the two. Ask Nakul about it, and pat comes a reply, “No! We are just good friends. I really am close to Sunaina because she is a good friend of mine and we have already done a film together. We, otherwise, are just friends.”

Ask Sunaina the same question, and she too refutes it. “I am fond of him because he was my first hero,” says the actress. When asked what she really likes about Nakul, the actress made her sentence clear. “I don’t know if this is his plus or minus point, but I like it in him. When he enters any place, he may not even speak a word, but his presence will, nevertheless, be felt. I will know it if Nakul is around. I like that about him,” says the actress. ‘Masilamani’ is being directed by RNR Manohar and produced by Kalpathi S Agoram. It is an action-packed commercial film and has music by Dheena.

Nakul and Sunaina are back

Debutant director Manohar has decided to cast the winning pair of Kadhalil Vizunthen once again for his maiden venture Masilamani. The entire shooting is expected to end shortly with only a song remaining to be canned. Speaking to Galatta from AVM Studios, Manohar complimented producer Kalpathi S. Aghoram and said that he was very lucky to get a producer like him. Manohar was given complete permission to shoot the songs anywhere in the world, but he decided to complete it in Hong Kong itself.

Nakul, who plays the lead role, is very excited about this project, and said that he is looking forward to the film's release. Nakul has also assisted director Manohar by giving suggestions on many occasions.

Director Manohar agreed that all love stories are the same, but the way each one is handled is what makes the difference. Manohar has worked very seriously on the screenplay and Sunaina had taken great pains to learn Bharatanatyam for her role.

Music has been scored by D. Imman and Vetri handles the camera. Nakul and Sunaina form a great pair and it remains to be seen if they can set the screens on fire again.

Masilamani is a cute love story which is sure to leave you asking for more!

Ayan goes digital internationally

The first big release of summer 2009, Ayan is releasing worldwide on April 3. This is the first Tamil movie to go digital in the overseas market, thus setting a new trend.
