Nayanthara pairing again with Simbu!

Despite several personal conflicts between the couple a few years back, the two actors – Nayanthara and Simbu have decided to work together in a film!

According to the recent buzz Nayanthara and Simbu are paired up opposite each other in an upcoming film directed by Pandiraj.

Earlier Simbu and Pandiraj started the shoot of this untitled film, a few weeks ago in Chennai without the leading lady. They had to start with the next schedule, however took a break to finalise their heroine.

Now it is confirmed to be Nayathara to play the romantic interest opposite Simbu, who is currently working on Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal, alongside Udhayanidhi Stalin.

Nayanthara is said to be playing the role of Mylaa, a lovable girl next-door character in this romantic comedy.

Pandiraj confirms and said, “I felt that Nayanthara would be a perfect fit for the character and approached her through our cinematographer Balasubramaniem, who is working with her in Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal. She liked the role but was reluctant to agree because Simbu was the lead. However, I convinced her by pointing out that exes like Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have worked together after breaking up. She understood my point of view and agreed.”

Simbu too was said to be initially sceptical about pairing up with her, as it might create unwanted rumours, but Pandiraj has convinced him too.

Pandiraj added, “But I told him that this would work. So, he told me that if I believed this will benefit the film, he was OK with it.”

Ajith’s Arrambam to release for Diwali!

Vishnuvardhan’s film with Ajith Arrambam is now one of the hottest selling movies. The film’s distribution rights have partly been bagged by AM Ratnam, the film’s producer, for certain sections of Tamilnadu.

Some reports suggest that the movie’s Karnataka distribution rights is sold for nearly 3 crores, a first timer for an Ajith film. The Coimbatore distribution is said to be taken care by Cosmo Pictures, who earlier tasted success with Nanban and Thuppaki.

The film’s release date is yet to be officially announced, yet the expectation from the film among the ultimate star’s fans are very high and are eagerly awaiting its release. It is speculated that the movie will be releasing for Diwali.

With Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music, the movie has Arya, Nayanthara, Tapasee Pannu and Rana Daggubati in the leads.  Sony has bought the music rights.

With Om Prakash’s cinematography and A Sreekar Prasad’s editing, the movie also stars Mahesh Manjrekar, Atul Kulkarni, Suman Ranganathan, Kishore, Akshara Gowda, Prashant Nair and Lee Whittaker in a special appearance.

Nayanthara & Tapasee very close together!

Nayanthara and Tapasee who are working together in Ajith-Vishnuvardhan’s untitled film are turning in to the new BFF (Best Friends Forever) in town.

Nayanthara who has always maintained good rapport with the current crop of heroines is having a good time with Tapasee. The two we hear tried adventure sports in Kulu Manali together.

Taapsee told media, “Who said that two actresses cannot get along? Nayan and I bonded so well that we even tried adventure sports in Kulu Manali.”

Tapasee who seemed very excited about her new found passion said, “The weather conditions in Kulu Manali were extreme, to say the least. But that did not deter Nayan and me from indulging in mountain biking on the rough and, often, treacherous terrain. I have had experience of it in Mauritius, but Nayan was a little scared as it was the first time for her. But she thoroughly enjoyed the ride. We also experienced mud biking on the mountain sides.”

Nayanthara rejects Bollywood debut!

Usually, Actresses fall head over heels for ever charming Shahrukh Khan and would go to any extent to share screen space with the Bollywood superstar. However, a South beauty make it clear she isn’t one of them.

Nayantara was approached by the makers of Chennai Express which stars Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone for an item number in the romantic comedy. What came as a unexpected shock is the rejection from the hottie due to the reasons best known to her.

Nayanthara item song with Surya!

Nayantara, the busy bee of South Indian films, is carefully choosing her films. The actress is acting in multiple projects in different industries. The latest piece of news to hear on her is that Nayan, who had earlier worked with the 7aam Arivu star in Aadhavan and Ghajini, will be doing an item number in Surya's upcoming movie Singam 2.

Rumours are rife that Nayantara has been approached by the makers of Singam 2 for the special number in the movie. The early buzz says that she has not signed on the dotted lines, but the actress has given her verbal consent. It is said that Hari was the director, who introduced the 26-year-old girl to Tamil cinema in Ayya. It is this reason, which has made the actress to agree to give a nod for the item number.

However, Singam 2, which is a sequel to Singam, also stars Anushka Shetty and Hansika Motwani in the lead roles. The movie produced by KE Gnanavel Raja will hit the screens next summer.

Nayantara opens up about Prabhu Deva!

The industry was shocked when lovebirds Prabhudeva and Nayantara decided to part ways. Their tumultuous and a very serious affair couldn't stand the blow of time. After being in relationship over three and half years Nayantara splits with Prabhu Deva. Earlier there were rumors that both the love couple will get married soon.

Nayantara has finally opened her mouth on calling it quits with Prabhu Deva.  From what the actress has said to the media, it appears, she is feeling cheated.  She insinuated that although she was ready to make any sacrifice, the other one did not seem to value love.

"I had always been one hundred percent honest with Prabhu Deva.  When I realized that it did not have any meaning or value (for him), I thought I better come out of it.  I never thought that my love will come to an end in the middle", said Nayan.

However, Nayantara has learnt something from the experience.  "I understand that anything can happen any time in life."  She said that she was always ready to do anything in love.  "I sacrificed a lot for his sake.  If problems that arise in love are not rectified in time, they can get out of hand.  That is what has happened with me", she said.

In Ajith’s Billa-2 Nayantara playing a cameo role!

Actress Nayantara after her alleged break-up with Prabu Deva is in news for making a comeback in to films. Earlier there were reports that Nayantara is making a come back with a Ajith film under the direction of Vishnuvardhan, which might also star Arya in another important role that will be produced by AM Rathanm.

Now we hear that Nayantara will be playing a cameo role in Billa 2. She had been the lead actress in the earlier version of Billa. We hear that Nayan has agreed to do the cameo as Ajith and Nayantara shares a good rapport and has also done another film (Aegan) together.

Billa 2 has Parvathy Omanakuttan playing the lead, while the film also has Bruna Abdulla, Vidyyut Damwal as the villain. The film written and directed by Chakri Toleti also has Prabhu, Rahman, Krishnakumar as part of its cast.

The movie has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by RD Rajasekhar and editing by Suresh Urs.

The film has recently wrapped up its shoot in a foreign location and is scheduled to release on the 1st of May.

Simbu,Nayanthara in ‘Vada Chennai’!

Nayantara who is sad to be making a comeback of sorts in to film with a Ajith film, is also being approached by Director Vetrimaran states recent reports.

 

Vada Chennai has been in news for Rana Daggubati's walk out and the film which had undergone a day's workshop for the cast and crew has Simbu and Andrea Jeremiah in pivotal roles.

Interestingly if Nayantara is roped in to the casting, she might have a chance to work alongside her ex boyfriend Simbu! After her reported break up with Prabhu Deva, we guess Nayantara is on a vengeance to hit back in to movies.

Simbu who has worked with Nayantara in Vallavan, Simbu had even said that he has no issues in working with her again. We hear that Nayantara might consider the offer too, as Vetrimaran is keen in bringing the hit pair again on screen.

Vada Chennai has music by GV Prakash Kumar, while cinematography is handled by Velraj.

Naynthara stay or quit the industry?

Nayantara who was recently spotted at the 50th day function recently of her Telugu film Sri Rama Rajyam, dodges the Media and prepared herself to maintain silence t the questions posted by the press people.

Nayantara who was supposed to tie the knot with Prabhu Deva last year after his divorce from his earlier Marriage was reported to quit the films and her role as Sita in Sri Rama Rajyam was touted to be her last film.

Now the big question is if Nayatara will stay or quit the industry. But the actress keeps mum.

Nayantara made it clear that she will not talk about her personal life not about her future films in the event says sources.

Prabhu Deva is at present busy with his Hindi movie Rowdy Rathore with Akshay Kuamr and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead. We wonder if their marriage will take place any time soon.

A source says, “Nayan was in Hyderabad for not just the film’s event but also a few other public appearances. While she posed graciously to the many shutterbugs who wanted her photograph, she informed the people that she wouldn’t answer any questions related to her career or personal life. And when she was questioned about them, she just moved away from the scene much to the bewilderment of those around.”

Reports also had it that Nayantara is being still considered and approached by producers to cast her in role, but Nayantara has not taken any step. In fact sources suggested from tinsel town that Ram Gopal Varma and Nagarjuna were keen to rope in Nayantara to play Goddess Sita in their upcoming venture which is the adaptation of Ramayana and is speculatively titled Raavan.

Nayantara and Prabhu Deva watch ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ movie together!

While her forthcoming mythological film Sri Rama Rajyam, starring veteran Balakrishna in the lead under the direction of Bapu, is releasing today (November 17), it is heard that actress Nayantara and Prabhu Deva will watch the movie together in Chennai on her birthday, November 18.

It is observed that the actress is most likely to announce her retirement from films after the release of Sri Rama Rajyam in which she plays Sita. Balakrishna plays Lord Rama. Sri Rama Rajyam is based on some episodes of the epic Ramayana. Music is by Ilaiyaraaja and script by Mullapudi Venkata Ramana.

Happy Birthday Nayanthara!

Nayanthara is celebrating her birthday today, November 18th, 2011. The actress’s latest Telugu release Rama Rajyam hit the screens yesterday and has received some rave reviews already. This mythological film has Bala Krishna and Nayathara playing the lead pair and has been directed by Bapu.

Rama Rajyam is believed to be Nayan’s last film as there is a word spreading out that she has quit movies to settle in marital bliss. The actress has been dating director-choreographer-actor Prabhu Deva for long and the two are expected to make an announcement about their wedding soon.

Prabhu Deva warned Nayan to cut out her expenses!

Nayantara and Prabhu Deva seems to be hitting the gossip headlines often. Nayantara though did not announce her retirement, seemed to have stopped signing in on new projects and the industry has been buzz that her last film is Sri Ramarajyam in which she plays Goddess Sita.

 

The latest buzz is that Nayantara's expenses have hit the roof and that the actress is not able to maintain a balance with her expenses, as she had to pay for a lot of mortgage loans.

We now hear that her beau Prabhu Deva has come to her rescue and is paying out her EMIs for four of her Luxury Cars.

Prabhu Deva is more than worried has her expenses seemed to have increased these days and Nayan who is not doing any films right now is depending on her soon to be wedded Prabhu Deva and is has to bare all the burden. Prabhu is said to have paid Rs 10 lakh for Nayantara's loans.

Reports also state that he has warned Nayan to cut out her expenses, while she fails to hear him out. We hear a new story that the incident which was reported few days back about Nayan not allowing Prabhu to enter her house in Kochi was due to paying of bills. She is said to have told that he will not allow him until he pays the bills claims certain reports.

The couple is yet to announce their Wedding date.

Clash between Prabhu Deva-Nayantara!

Just when people were busy guessing the date and venue of much-awaited marriage of Prabhu Deva-Nayantara, a shocking speculation is doing rounds in the cine circle. Grapevine has it that the couple's relationship is in trouble and they are yet to sort out the differences.

Prabhu Deva was recently accompanied by his children for a shooting schedule in abroad. The choreographer-turned-director, who was asked by Nayantara to take her with him, told her to stay back but did not reveal the reason behind it. He was reportedly not keen to be with her while his kids were around. This has lead to the rift between the couples, claim reports.

Reports further say that Prabhu Deva's proximity with his kids has not gone well with Nayantara, as she believes that the choreographer is ignoring her. The actress has given up so many things for him – she bid goodbye to her career during her peak years, converted to Hinduism, etc. – but he is not ready sacrifice a bit of it.

Nayanthara praises Amala Paul!

Recently, Nayanthara the glam queen of south Indian cinema send an sms to Amala Paul, the promising newcomer after she saw her pics on the cover of a leading women’s magazine. 

Nayan's sms was: “You looked really good in the JFW photo shoot and in one of the pics, you looked so much like Priyanka Chopra. The way you have made this fast make-over is quite appreciable”

And Amala Paul screamed in joy and happiness. She was quick to reply back to Nayan: “Nayan you made my day. It was so sweet and kind of you to tell me this, and these words coming from you, means a lot . No other heroine of your stature would tell me this”

Amala said: “I was always proud about Nayanthara who is from Kerala and made it big in south Indian cinema. Prabhu Deva opens about his marriage!

Prabhu Deva who is busy with the shoot of his upcoming Tamil Movie Vedi and also in news for his Hindi movie Rowdy Rathore film, is constantly in news for his Marriage with actress Nayantara.

The gossips have even gone to the extent that they married them and is reported to have secretly married in Mumbai.

Prabhu opens about his marriage with Nayantara and speaks saying, “I am always been a very private person and never like to discuss my personal life.
