Recently there were reports that director Gautham Menon has has signed Sameera Reddy as the female lead in Vijay's Yohan: Adhyanam Ondru, a detective story based in New York. Sameera has earlier worked with Gautham Menon in Vaaranam Aayiram and Nadunisi Naaygal. This dream project, scheduled to go on floors by June 2012, will have Manoj Paramahamsa as the cameraman and A.R. Rahman as music director. There are also reports that Vijay may play the role of a common man who goes on to become the most wanted don across the world.

But the director has now denied such reports and confirmed that the female lead is yet to be finalised. Gautham Menon is currently busy with his trilingual Neethane En Ponvasantham (with Jiiva, Nani, Aditya Roy Kapur and Samantha) and Ek Deewana Tha (Hindi remake of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa) with Prateik and Amy Jackson.
According to Sameera, she has already planned to marry only a business tycoon and will settle for nothing less. She says it’s a definite no for actors. Sameera hails from a family that comprises of business persons and she says that she wishes to tread that path in the future. She adds that her business acumen will come in handy for her husband too in future.
