Tamanna is planning a big comeback in Tamil. The actress, who was last seen in Kollywood with Dhanush in 'Venghai', is now listening four scripts from Tamil filmmakers, and will sign at least a couple of them. "I became so busy in Tollywood that I could not concentrate on Tamil films for a while. There were reports that 'Velayudham' ran into trouble in Bangalore, as a few Kannada organisations staged protests in front of cinema halls screening the Vijay-starrer. Manorama is recovering!

Veteran actress Manorama on Tuesday successfully underwent a surgery at a hospital in Chennai, to remove a blood clot in her head. The operation that started at around 11 am, went on for nearly 75 minutes. There was a call to ban 7aum Arivu in Sri Lanka because the film had some dialogues on the lack of Tamil liberation movement. This created uproar in Sri Lanka and there was call to ban the film. Music composer Ilayaraja's wife Jeeva passed away yesterday at her Chennai's T Nagar residence. A source informs that Jeeva who is 60 years old is said to have declared dead when she was brought to the Apollo Hospitals.
