Vijay and Trisha were behaving like strangers

Udayanidhi Stalin has joined the ranks of successful producers. The film ’Kurivi’ produced by him for Red Giant Films has crossed 150 days. The celebratory function was held at the Park Sheraton Hotel in Chennai. Though coming from a prominent family, Udayanidhi had organized a simple function. He made the function more meaningful by donating lakhs of rupees to destitute and physically challenged people. Partaicipating in the function director Balachander and producers’ association president Rama Narayanan gave away the mementos to artists and technicians.Arriving late to attend the function Trisha sat at the dais after announcing ’I am late because I am coming from Hyderabad and I am sorry for that’.

Both Vijay and Trisha never even acknowledged each other sitting side by side for more than one hour. This was taken a serious note by the media. While Vijay and Trisha were behaving like strangers, Balachander spoke ’I could see this film only with the held of a pirate VCD. I was also scared as I wondered about the consequences. I believe it would be better to release DVDs three months after release of the films instead of chasing pirates’.The audible murmur among the distributors present in the function was ’how can he talk like this without understanding the status of distributors who pay money to acquire the rights’.

In an attempt to spur Rajinikanth to enter politics, his fans have started a political party - Desiya Dravida Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (DDMMK). But it cannot be construed as Rajinikanth’s political move; it is a decision taken by his fans, not by him.

This act seems to be the culmination of a week of tension amidst his fans following the star’s call for a meeting with fan clubs, tentatively on October 12th. This announcement has given rise to many speculations about the meet’s agenda: ranging from brainstorming to boost his star power to launching a political party; coming in the wake of Chiranjeevi’s political party launch, Rajni’s call for a meeting has made many think he too might announce a political party.

At present, the star is busy with Robot’s first tranche of filming. His meeting with his fan clubs, when he reveals his ideas, should put an end to speculations.

Tamanna-" The best"

Trisha, Nayanthara and Ileana: these would have been the top-charting heroines of South Indian Film industry. But now, they are quite despaired about the re-entry of Tamanna. Yup! The actress is so energized with whatever roles she dons and her bubbly looks has really enchanted everyone. But, what made the other heroines losing their offers to Tamanna is because of their ageing looks. At present, Tamanna is pairing up with lead actors Surya with ‘Ayyan’, Dhanush in ‘Padikadhavan’ and many more offers are awaited on her part.

Apart from these offers, she has been roped into the remake of Hindi blockbuster ‘Jab We Met’ with Bharath. Also, she has been approached by Mahesh Babu in her forthcoming Telugu film that is expected to be directed by Gowtham Menon.
