Prakash Raj’s complaint

Prakash Raj is furious over the makers of Singam for using a dubbing artiste to dub for the Telugu version of Singam. Singam is a roaring success in Kollywood and with Suriya enjoying immense popularity in Tollywood, the makers of Singam decided to dub the film in Telugu.

 

Unfortunately, Prakash Raj’s voice was not used for the Telugu version, which had perturbed the actor. He had filed a complaint with the Nadigar Sangam for action against the makers of Singam.

RAHMAN’S SHOW IN GERMANY

Oscar winner AR Rahman’s Jai Ho world concert is a great success so far. The ace musician is gearing up to perform at the SAP Arena in Mannheim on July 18th, which will be his only concert in Germany. Bad time for Vijay

Vijay's next film directed by Siddique was fast progressing under the title 'Kaavalkaran' and few days ago the news was there announcing the change of title to 'Kaaval Kadhal'. In fact it was only after Asin spoke to the media from Srilanka everybody came to know of the change.

Now you know the reason for the change. 'Kaavalkaran' was an ever green super hit film of MGR produced by Sathya Movies founded by R M Veerappan. That was the very first production venture of the illustrious production house.

After hearing that a Vijay's film is using one of their ever popular title Sathya Movies wrote an objection to the producer council. The objection was conveyed to Siddique and eventually the title was changed.

According to production council rules if anybody wants to re-use an old film's title the act has to be officially approved by the producer of the original film.

Simbhu to do a remake film

It looks like Silambarasan is yet to make up his mind, regarding his next film after the success of Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya.

The latest we hear is that Simbu has done a photo shoot for a Tamil remake of Krish’s critically acclaimed Telugu Vedam, released last month.

Vedam had Allu Arjun, Anushka and Manoj Manchu in the lead. Now Simbu will do the role of Allu Arjun’s ‘Cable Raju’ in the Tamil version, along with Anushka and Manoj.

Leading producer RB Chowdhary’s son Jithan Ramesh will be producing this film. The buzz is that Simbu took up the assignment as he has a major crush on Anushka who did the original!

But sources say that Anushka is not interested and the makers are trying to rope in Taapsee for the role of the commercial sex-worker in the film.

Trisha becomes Mumbai girl

Trisha feels she hasn’t got enough of Mumbai yet. Her Bollywood debut 'Khatta Meetha' is nearing release and the southern beauty bitten by the Mumbai bug like never before.

She apparently is overwhelmed to the fact Mumbai never sleeps. She also expressed her liking for the Mumbai pav bhaji street food and the night life the city dishes out. She said "I love the Mumbai city" and vowed to return whenever she gets time.

Trisha’s first Hindi film ‘Khatta Meetha’ directed by Priyadarshan which will star Akshay Kumar as her hero is releasing on July 23.

Prakash Raj Pony Verma marriage on August 24

Three times National Award winner Prakash Raj is all prepared to marry his long time girl friend choreographer Pony Verma on August 24 in Mumbai according to sources. Pony and Prakash have been seeing each other for the past two years and the marriage is on the cards after the Chennai Family court granted divorce from his wife Lalitha Kumari (sister of actress Disco Shanti) in November last year.

Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor, who introduced Prakash Raj in Bollywood as the main villain in Tamil ‘Pokkiri’ remake ‘Wanted’ is said to be looking after the arrangements in Mumbai.

After divorce Lalitha Kumari is reviving her film career which she abandoned after her marriage with Prakash Raj.

Namitha’s suicide rumours

Recently, a section of the media reported that glam doll Namitha has attempted suicide due to depression. When the actress came to know about her suicide story, she burst out in laughter.

“I am here at my Amby Valley house near Mumbai. It’s news to me and I don’t know who spreads such baseless rumours and what they gain out of it. I am off to Chennai tomorrow as shooting for Maanada Mayilada will happen there,” she said. Currently Namitha is busy with Kalaignar’s film Ilaignan and a couple of Telugu films.
