Bollywood wished the superstar a speedy recovery!

After every other Bollywood personality shown concern towards Tamil superstar Rajnikanth’s health, Bollywood Baadshah ‘Shahrukh Khan’, an admirer of the Tamil matinee idol has praised the superstar and wished him a speedy recovery.

SRK, who is busy with his IPL franchisee, Kolkatta Knight Riders and his film ‘RA.One’ after coming to know about the health condition of Rajnikanth immediately tweeted by saying that, “suddenly felt awful yesterday while driving back from the match to know rajni sir is unwell. he is our superhero…insha allah he will be well soon”.

Meanwhile SRK’s rival Salman Khan, who after receiving a National award for Dabangg [best wholesome entertainment category] was more worried about the health condition of the Tamil superstar. He was quoted saying, “Thanks to god he is ok now”.

Rajnikanth, admitted in the ICU of the Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre in Chennai, is improving after advanced treatment, including hemodialysis, according to doctors attending on him.

Actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Bobby Deol, Priyanka Chopra, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Javed Jaffrey etc from Bollywood have already wished the superstar a speedy recovery.

Lawrence’s prayer meeting for Rajini!

One of the biggest fans of Rajinikanth is choreographer turned actor Lawrence.

On Sunday (May 22), the dance king organised a mass prayer meeting for "the speedy recovery of superstar Rajinikanth" at Raghavendra temple at Thirumangalam in Chennai.

Later he organised "Annadanam" and served lunch to the underprivileged people.

Nadigar Sangam chief and AISMK leader and MLA Sarath Kumar was also present on the occasion.

Rajinikanth still in ICU?

According to sources, Superstar Rajinikanth, who has been admitted in hospital due to stomach and respiratory infections, will remain in the ICU for some more days. The 61 year old actor is responding well to treatments; he takes his food on his own, spends time with his family members and watches television. Rajinikanth, admitted to Sri Ramachandra Medical University on May 13 for respiratory and gastro-intestinal problems, is receiving appropriate and comprehensive treatment. According to hospital sources, his vital parameters are stable,

Meanwhile, to clear all rumours, his son-in-law Dhanush posted Superstar's picture on his micro blogging site. But many fans now allege that Dhanush was “cheating” the fans by posting an old picture of Rajinikanth taken at the Isabella Hospital.

Suriya’s Maatraan ready to kick start near Pakistan!

Suriya starrer Maatraan is ready to kick start and the unit is all set to shoot a schedule near Pakistan border. Director K V Anand is all geared up for this project and the expectations are high as the duo is paring up after the blockbuster Ayan.

After shortlisting from a long list of actresses, K V Anand has finally zeroed in on Kajal Agarwal as the female lead for Maatraan.

Ko in Telugu was in lead!

KV Anand’s Ko with Jiiva in the lead was released in Telugu as Rangam. It has taken a good opening and is going strong judging by the initial trade reports. The music is also a smash hit.

The film has had the right commercial ingredients and was therefore able to transcend the language barrier, insiders feel. The fast pace and action also worked in favor of the film. KV Anand is pleased with the response to Rangam and conveyed his gratitude to the Telugu audience who have appreciated his film and made it such a resounding success.
