Aadhavan and Vettaikaran: clash of the titans
The release of Aadhavan and Vettaikaran seems to have created a ‘clash of the titans’ scenario in Tamil Nadu. Aadhavan is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin for his Red Giant movies, the distribution rights of which are with Kalaignar TV. Rightly so, Kalaignar TV is leaving no stones unturned in publicizing the movie and the promos have already gone on air.
On the other hand, Vettaikaran, produced by AVM is sold to SUN TV. Given the aggressive marketing strategies adopted by the SUN network in recent times to promote their movies, it’s easy to say that Vettaikaran will enjoy the same privilege. However, SUN hasn’t started airing the promos as yet on air but it won’t be too long until the promos are on.
Speaking of this, more than the performance of the movies at the box office, it would be interesting to watch the belligerent strategies adopted by two major television networks to promote their movies.

Divya’s rude behavior
Divya Spandana’s rude behavior during the shooting of the Kannada film Just Maath Maathalli seems to have irked the dancers. This is not the first time that the actress is making it to the headlines for her rude behavior. A few days ago, she got into an argument with the media persons during a press meet resulting in the press boycotting the meeting.
Sources from the film unit say that Divya’s behavior while filming a song was so rude that the dancers and the choreographer were shocked. The actress also threatened to walk out of the shoot if the song was not re-shot.
The Karnataka Choreographers and Dancers’ Association complained about this to the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce and she was finally made to apologize to the association.

Nayanthara decided not doing glamorous role in future
Nayanthara is well known in the south Indian film circuit for her astounding glamour quotient. The lady’s bikini–clad scenes in Billa were much talked about and her career soared to newer heights.
However, the actress is now refusing to wear glamorous clothes much to the chagrin of her directors and producers. Nayan is currently starring in the Telugu film Athoorpu directed by VV Vinayak. Incidentally, Vinayak introduced Nayan in Tollywood and when the director mentioned about the necessity to wear skimpy clothes for a scene, the actress refused to do so, stating that she has decided against going glamorous in future.
This decision has raised expectations that the actress is keen on ending her acting career and is moving closer to marital bliss.

Nayantara's reply to Ralmath's allegations
"Ralmath has no business to abuse or criticise me," said Nayantara, reacting to the charge of Prabhu Deva's wife to a leading morning vernacular.
A report in an evening paper carries Nayantara's reply. It says:
"It is easier for Ralmath to check the facts with Prabhu Deva instead of taking this circuitous route. I have apprised the media about this issue many times. My biggest strength is the support of my family. I am not bothered of the opinion of others on my personal matters. As of now, I am focused on my career with a lot of pending projects to be completed.”
Nayantara is in now Kerala taking a break from her shooting schedules.
